Wizkid shows love to Davido at Madison Square performance

International Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid took a moment on his show to give a shout-out to his colleague Davido while thrilling fans on stage at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

The comes few weeks after Davido lost his son Ifeanyi to drowning.

In the middle of his performance, the singer dedicated a song to Davido.

Immediately, the beat was changed to Davido’s “Dami duro” followed by ‘If” among others.

This gesture received a loud cheer from the audience and an emotional atmosphere.

Since the unfortunate demise of his son, Davido and wife have not publicly commented.

However Davido has cancelled his Are We African Yet (A.W.A.Y) concert which was slated to hold in November 2022.

The event has been rescheduled for next year.
