#BETHipHopAwards: Sarkodie Beats Nigeria’s Falz, Canada’s Tory Lanez & Others To Be the First Ever Winner of Best International Flow

Ghana’s Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie has become the first ever person to win the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The Highest won the award ahead of Nigerian rapper Falz, Canadian’s Tory Lanez, Nasty C among others.

Since his victory, a lot of tributes and congratulatory messages have been pouring in from all angles both in Ghana and international. MTV Base one was of the few media channels to congratulate him on his victory with local media such as TV3, GhOne and others also joining in.

This award makes it the second time the Ghanaian rapper is winning a BET-related award after jointly winning the Best International Act with Wizkid in 2012.
