I Have Been A Threat To Many Producers Since I Started Music – Lucky Mensah

Highlife guru, Lucky Mensah has made a serious bombshells on how some producers tried to tamper with his progress as a young musician and how he posed a threat to them.

In an interview with Abrantepa on the Brunch to Lunch show on Radio Univers 105.7fm on Monday morning, Lucky Mensah stated that he saw himself as threat to many producers including Big Ben and others as they tried to hinder his progress. According to him, he was told on many occasions that his voice was not good enough for commercial music. Even though he had written a song for Abomofuor and also helped them record it, he was still told that his voice could  not work.

This he alleges was because of the power they saw in him as an artiste. He also revealed that producers such as Big Ben did not want to help him push his music because he was a threat to the development of their own artiste such as Ofori Amponsah.

I was told by Big Ben that my voice was not good after I presented my work to him. I was so surprised because I had been teaching people how to sing even at the age of 12. I felt it was a plot to promote their own artistes as they felt I was a threat to their progress.
