Ghanaians Songs Are Not Played For More Than A Minute In South Africa – Producer C’tea

South African based Ghanaian music producer, Ctea has stated that Ghanaian songs are not played for more than a minute in South Africa.

He said this in a interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show where he was speaking about the influence on Ghanaian music outside the shores of Ghana. According to him, the maximum airtime a Ghanaian song enjoys in a club in SA is 30 seconds that is when they realize there are a number of Ghanaians in there.

He mentioned that Congolese love Ghanaian music the most but unfortunately do not play it for long in their night clubs. On the Ghanaian songs he has heard being played at these clubs, Ctea who worked on Sarkodie’s ‘On Time For Your Mind’ track was only able to mention ‘Adonai’ by Sarkodie and ‘Odo’ by Kidi.
