Voting for UGSRC Excellence Awards Ends Today, Ceremony on June 2
Voting for UGSRC Excellence Awards will end today, May 30, 2019 after a week-long voting.
Organizers of the awards have also indicated that the main awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Great Hall of the University of Ghana.
Nominations were opened for students to nominate their favorite personalities for various including Journalist of the Year, Presidential Awards, Innovation, among others. Final shortlisting was made after the Academy of the scheme perused the various impacts of nominees with voting commencing last week.
Radio Univers’ John Acquaful (Kwesi Live), Sampson Boamah, David Quaye, Piesie Nana Yaw Safo and Manuel Koranteng are vying for the prestigious Journalist of the Year award.
