Ghana’s representative in the maiden edition of Miss Glamour Look International, Miss Harriet Lamptey has already risen the flag of the country by defying the odds to place 2nd Runner up in a pre-event fashion show organized by the mayor of Lagunda, Philppines Ramil Hernandez.
The alumna of the University of Ghana and Africa’s Top Model at Miss Pan African Queen, Miss Lamptey fell behind Miss Benelux (1st) and Miss Australia(2nd) but was ahead of other queens such as Miss Senegal, Miss Philppines, Miss Nigeria and other queens. Speaking after the event, Miss Lamptey told http://www.kwesilive.com that,
It was a pretty tough one and honestly I wasn’t expecting this. I realized after I landed here that I had more work to do and I’m still working on myself to get very well prepared ahead of the main even on February 25.
I promise everyone that I will give my best in the final show having been able to achieve this laurel. I will definitely raise the flag of Ghana high.
The main event will be held on February 25 at the Cultural Centre of Laguna and will be hosted by International Event Host and Presenter, Michael Bristol. The event will be streamed live on facebook via Miss Glamour Look International.
