Nana Ama’s Comments Are Unnecessary – JCR Organizer For Jean Nelson Hall Proclaims

Junior Common Room organizer of Jean Nelson Aka hall of the University of Ghana has proclaimed that Nana Ama’s rants over actor John Dumelo’s visit to their hall is irrelevant and unnecessary.

There’s been a whole social media bruohaha after a Citi Fm employee, Nana Ama blasted actor John Dumelo on social media for visiting and hugging University of Ghana students(girls) on Valentine’s day. The lady who is believed to be a feminist described the act of John as ‘Predatory and Gross’, something she has received a lot of backlash on.

Responding to this feud on Radio Univers’ Brunch to Lunch with Abrantepa on Monday morning, Damien Dadzie Richard who happens to be the JCR organizer of the Jean Nelson Aka Hall where this act happened has described Nana Ama’s rant as unnecessarey and irrelevant. According to him, John Dumelo was only doing the hall a favor by trying to make their Val’s day program more interesting. this he said was because most of the ladies were refusing to come down to where the main program was taking place which forced John to climb upstairs and surprise the ladies.

Me and my team decided to put up this program on February 14 for the students in the hall. We decided that we needed a celebrity to pass through to make it more interesting and we settled on John. Thankfully, he responded to out call and decided to come. Unfortunately, most of the students were hiding on their balconies which was making the program a bit boring.

So he decided to climb upstairs to pay these students some surprise visits and that was all. He didn’t do that with a wrong intention.

I feel what she(Nana Ama) has said is unnecessary and irrelevant and shouldn’t be entertained to reach this place.
