Our visas for our game against Al Hilal in Sudan would be ready today (Tuesday) and the team will leave by Thursday to continue preparations in Sudan ahead of the game on Sunday. At the moment, every department of the Kotoko team is ready and focused on the game on Sunday – he said on Ashh FM’s Breakfast Sports.

He further revealed that the team has three more slots to register new players for the group stages hence management and the Technical Team is carefully considering if there are any more players they can add to beef up the squad.

We still have three slots to register our players for the CAF Confederations Cup so we (Management) are still working within time to fill the remaining slots because the deadline is Thursday January 31, 2019 so the supporters should remain calm.

The Fabulous Asante Kotoko side progressed to the group after a walkover in the first round of the prelimary stages, ousting Kariobangi Sharks of Kenya by 2-1 on aggregate and comfortably booting out Coton Sport of Cameroon.

They have been in Group D alongside Al Hilal of Sudan, Nkana FC and Zesco United FC all from Zambia. Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be hoping to progress through the group stages to the Quarter Finals after failing to do so in their last outing in 2008.
