I Wanted My Son To Be An Accountant – Quamina MP’s Dad Speaks Out

Father of Ground Up artiste, Quamina MP, Mr. Buckman has revealed that he wanted his son to be an accountant while growing up.
The young artiste who is based in Tema shot to fame after his song, Wiase Ye De which featured label mate, Kwesi Arthur became a hit. The song has since enjoyed a lot of airplay in the country with clubs, radio stations and TV stations playing it the time. The St. Mary’s Boys SHS graduate recently released another banger titled Party and features Kwesi Arthur and Kofi Kinaaata.

Speaking on the Big X Show on Radio Univers 105.7fm with Eugene McQuaye Saturday morning, father of Quamina MP made mention that he was a little disappointed with his son’s decision to ditch school and pursue music full time. He revealed that he wanted his son to pursue a career in music or related field instead of music. However, proud Mr. Buckmann on the show mentioned that he is now proud of his son’s accomplishment and will support him all day.
He further revealed that he has his son’s hit song, Wiase Ye De as his ringtone.
